KAY WYRICK

LIBRARY

Kay Wyrick was born in 1923,  and was placed in the state system at a young age, but she refused to allow anyone to define her. When she set her mind to something she accomplished it.

She was a lifetime member of the NAACP and spent many years helping the youth of Waterbury.

She was involved in many organizations and received countless awards throughout the years.

Her influence on the community was immense.

The Kay Wyrick Library will stand as a testament in her honor.
